Terms of Service for Shift Trader

Welcome to Shift Trader! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shift Trader mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") provided by Shift Trader ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Shift Trader, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing your:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and one-time password codes, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Shift Trader only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Attempt to access accounts or data not intended for you
  • Disrupt the normal operation of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Shift Exchanges

Shift Trader is a platform that helps users coordinate and trade shifts. We are not responsible for:

  • The outcome of any shift trades
  • Workplace disputes arising from shift changes
  • Compliance with employer policies or labor laws

It is your responsibility to ensure any shift trades are approved by your employer if necessary.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your information.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided by Shift Trader (including logos, text, and software) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shift Trader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
